The Girls Varsity Volleyball team finally got its first win of the 2008 season yesterday. After starting the year off a disappointing 0-6 the girls were ready to show everyone that they were better than what their record indicated. They proved that and more on Thursday afternoon with an easy win over visiting Hopedale. The Lady Eagles used crisp, confident play to make quick work of the blue raiders, defeating them in three strait sets. The team was led by strong performances from Junior Captain Jordan Wojnowski and eight grade standout Chasity Lambert. Coach Strenning and the girls will look to have a repeat of their dominating performance from yesterday as they travel to Hopedale on Monday for the back end of a home and home.
